Mini 2 - 1977 Austin Mini in Blaze Orange

The second Mini is a newer version of Mini 1.

This one has a few more miles on the clock at 66,000 but the body work is also in fairly good condition.
The front badge has been replaced with a later one.  This will need to be removed and swapped for an original Leyland Mini one.

The car has had some minor welding repairs in the front foot wells and also in the boot areas.  The quality of the jobs is quite poor and will need to be replaced with better work in the future.

The paintwork on the car is not in as good condition as the Mini 1 and there are a few rust spots and dents to sort out.  The guy selling the car recommended that the car had a complete respray.  This cost was added to the price of the car.

Other than the paint the interior has seen better days.  Nothing that a good scrub won't sort out but it may result in replacing the carpet.

Unfortunately someone has removed the original door hardware and replaced with some stainless steel after-market ones.  Errrr!

The engine has been pained in dark red that suggests that it;s been removed at some point.  Otherwise the engine bay looks like normal for it's age.  Again, lots of work required here but really need to remove the engine to do so.  Oh joy...
